HGX – Scissor Roller Bed

The HGX series Roller Beds are positioning systems. The friction between the wheels of the drive unit and the workpiece is used to rotate the workpieces. By adjusting the heads, the system can be adapted to the different diameters.

There are a variety of applications for Roller Beds. These are mainly used for assembling and welding pipelines, containers, boilers, tanks and other cylindrical workpieces.

A combination with our vending machine supports is also possible. This means that the longitudinal seam welding of the workpiece and the inner and outer circumferential seam welding can be realized. Frequency-controlled AC motors are used to drive the Roller Bed, which enable infinitely variable speed adjustment via a frequency converter.
